Cavity insulation is a layer of insulation which is pumped into the cavity of your walls and acts as a barrier. Preventing heat from escaping. Which leads to a more comfortable home and lower heating bills. Cavity walls are built using 2 layers of bricks and/or blocks leaving a gap (cavity) in-between. A cavity is typically 50-150mm wide. On an existing build, we insulate the cavity using ECOBEAD spray foam insulation. As it has excellent thermal properties (not all Cavity Wall Insulation materials are created equal).
